Butch & The Elevaters

NYC

Butch & the Elevaters are a high energy swamp-folk band residing in NYC. Leaning on the material of vocalist and songwriter Butch Phelps, the Elevaters catapult his songs to new and exciting heights. Kevin Batchelor (Keith Richards’ Crosseyed Heart, The Skatalites, Steel Pulse) leads the charge on trumpet and vocals. Drummer Steve Williams (The Digable Planets, Sade, Keith Richards) provides the groove support, with upright bassist Skip Ward (Steve Martin, Rosanne Cash, Bela Fleck) locked in with him. Guitarist Luba Dvorak (Luba Dvorak and the Banned, Wood Wires and Whiskey) puts the meat on the bone. Go see them and get Elevated!
