LIVESTOCK!

TESTIMONIALS

"Many thanks for a great gig yesterday. What a blast to see bands of the caliber of the Silos and Marah playing in your barn. I seemed to have plenty fans there, too. A special event... Best, GP"

"thank you so much, we had a blast, next year we will bring the whole squad if you'd have us! take care. dave and marah."

"Of all the gigs i play, nyc, uk, europe....Livestock is my favorite. No shit.
Thanks so much for having us back. It's really nice to feel part of a community."

"Thank you for hosting another gorgeous day at your fabulous and growing compound!!! I had a great time! (Insert applause here)."

"Thank you so much for being such a wonderful host and for throwing once again the best music event that we have ever attended. The level and quality of the music this year was spectacular. Everything was just so perfect it was almost unbelievable. Even the migratory birds showed up with a spectacular display for your show.....My only fear is that you had such a good and savvy crowd this year that the word will be out all over the east coast, and the music network, in such a big way that from here on out they will never be as intimate as they have been every year so far. If everyone who was there brings just one more person (and they won’t only invite one because of what you offered them this year) with them next year, it will be at least twice the size. In the future we will all always remember these last events as the intimate, personal beginning of something that is so special and that can never be duplicated. You’re going to be huge next year! YOU ROCK!"

"I just wanted to say thanks for like, the best party ever. The only thing that would have made is better is maybe a stripper. Or a donkey. Maybe a clown making balloon animals. There's always next year."

"That Livestock is a great time Chico!
Thanks for having me.
What a hell of a day too....your front lawn and house and everything made for perfect setting"

go down in the annals as "Best Music Party Ever."

"Thank you for the fun
Livestock 3!"

"The best party I've been

"...that line-up was remarkable!"

Good Morrow,
The Downsville contingency set about it's merry way from Buffalo to Bovina, lang syne, only to be struck down by the forces of Mephistopheles. Once upon Interstate 90, we fell victim to Fate's Cruel and Irrevocable Hand.... i.e., something in my truck's driveshaft gave out. As it were, we were towed back to Buffalo, beaten back by the swipe
of God's mighty hand.... The best laid plans of mice and men oft go astray, and leave us naught but greif and pain for promised joy. Exult, O shores, and ring, O bells! But I, with mournful tread, walk the deck my Toyota lies, fallen cold and dead. Out out, brief candle! A pickup truck is but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more.
And so, it is with deep regret that we must miss out on Livestock, our bosoms heavy with melancholia. But fear not, for someday our paths may cross again, before our final voyage to the choir invisible.
Hoist with our own petard,
Your Downsville fans

John -
So glad the bad weather did not detract from the fun time this year! It must feel good to look around your house and see everyone with smiles on their faces because you put on a great party. I'd like to think the 2 liters of Swedish vodka doreen and i brought also contributed to those smiles.
Hmm, let's all put on our Livestock caps and think of ways to top 1 through 3. Perhaps the spirit of Tony Clifton will guide us to the answers.
Thank you for the fun Livestock3!
Christina

Phenomenal party, dude! Possibly my favorite one ever; I'll have to think about it. The basement was really sweet; maybe that's why the bands sounded so much better to me this year, the closeness. Course, that line-up was remarkable. Even I think you are slightly cool now!
Later, H (Rock-Stupified)
PS Why doesn't Three Doors Down warm up for the Figgs, in MSG? W.T.F., makes no sense?"
